ROSE
Rose went through Kenya and Mozambique before re-locating to South Africa. She is very frustrated with the current situation and wishes for freedom of speech to return to her home. "You need to be free where you are. You have to have the right to speak out your mind, what is bothering you. [Back home] you are a citizen, but you are not allowed to do certain things. You are stopped. You want to give a complaint about what is not going right, but you are not allowed. They will cut you up, they will lock you, they will not allow you. You're not supposed to speak. You can't come out with your own opinion."
Rose does not have a strong stance on whether the Southern Cameroons region should separate or not. She simply wishes for peace, in order to be able to go home and feel safe.
